The show is a collection of pop standards written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. It was previewed in Los Angeles and opened on Broadway in 1995. It is the longest running revues in Broadway history -- running for 2,036 performances. The show performed in London in 1996. The original Broadway cast recording won a Grammy Award in 1996.
