The woods outside Athens are a busy place on this magical night! Four runaway lovers find themselves in the middle of a rift between the King and Queen of the Fairies, and if that wasn’t enough, a troupe of amateur actors are trying to rehearse a play. Between these unlikely groups flies Puck, armed only with a wicked sense of humor and a magic potion capable of making anyone fall in love with the first person they set eyes on. What could possibly go wrong? Fusing music, dance and some serious comedy, this wonderful outdoor event brings Shakespeare’s classic to Windhover Performings Arts Center’s magical setting. Brought to life by Gloucester Stage Youth Company, and Education Director Katie Oberlander. The outdoor performances are under the big tent at the Windhover Performing Arts Center - a beautiful historic farm in Rockport.
