Voices Festival Productions presents a timely comic and cutting-edge theatrical chronicle about how we collaborate, housed at DC's hottest new event space, The Corner at Whitman-Walker (on 14th & R). A brand-new Executive Director and her former boss (the A.D.) return to the scene of a cross-cultural crack-up and rehearsal room revolt that sets the stage for that AD’s departure from the theater he launched with high purpose and blind spots. Restorative Justice is on the agenda but hard to find as an ensemble re-unites, and a right-wing Israeli Cabinet Minister materializes to spar with Eilat and Samad, radical artist-activists with agendas of their own, as their American hosts get caught in the middle, navigating treacherous terrain. A journey of loss and learning, contrition and Cancel Culture (on both sides) all hanging in precarious balance.
