Overview

Synopsis

The show begins at a benefit gala to raise money for a new church steeple. The banjo-playing guest star is of course none other than the genial but ditzy, Bertie Wooster. When the strings on Bertie's banjo break, his faithful manservant, Jeeves, suggests Bertie tells of some of his many adventures. Bertie then replays how he became embroiled in the romances of several dim-witted members of the privileged class which result in mistaken identities and numerous other adventures. By the end, Bertie gets his banjo back for a finale that includes an Elvis spoof as well as the whole cast dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters.
