Synopsis

brownsville song (b-side for tray) is a poignant story about tragedy, family, resilience, and hope. Moving easily between the past and the present, the play tells the story of eighteen year old African-American Tray and his family. When Tray is senselessly killed on the streets of his Brownsville neighborhood in Brooklyn, his family must figure out how to hope, grieve, and come together.
