Lucy Moss studied history at the University of Cambridge and trained in Dance and Musical Theatre at Laine Theatre Arts. While at university, she met Toby Marlow and the friends wrote the pop-concert musical, Six, while studying for their final exams. The show debuted at the Edinburgh fringe 2017 as a student production before embarking on a UK tour, a West End run, and transferring to Broadway in 2020. Moss is the co-director of the show.
Moss and Marlow also wrote Hot Gay Time Machine, with Zak Ghazi-Torbati. It debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and is now a resident company at The Other Palace in London.
