This Privacy Policy describes how Estage Enterprises, Inc., doing business as StageAgent ("StageAgent," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use StageAgent.com, our websites, applications, subscriptions, community features, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy applies only to StageAgent.com and the consumer services offered through that platform, including visitors who browse our content, Basic Accounts, PRO Memberships, and Teacher Memberships.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to StageAgent for Schools (StageAgent.org), which is governed by a separate Privacy Policy available on that website.
1. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect when you:
visit StageAgent.com;
browse our content;
create a Basic Account;
purchase a PRO Membership;
purchase a Teacher Membership;
create or manage a Talent Profile;
create or manage a Theatre Company Profile;
publish an Opportunity Listing;
contact our customer support team;
subscribe to newsletters or other communications;
participate in surveys, promotions, or other community activities; or
otherwise use the Services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to:
StageAgent for Schools (StageAgent.org);
third-party websites or services that we do not own or control;
websites or applications linked from the Services; or
third-party providers, such as payment processors or social login providers, whose privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you choose to access through StageAgent.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit or use the Services, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:
IP address;

operating system;
device type and identifiers;
pages visited;
referring websites;
dates and times of access;
interactions with the Services;
approximate geographic location derived from your IP address;

Visitors Accessing StageShare™ Links
Teachers may share StageShare™ links that provide access to a curated collection of StageAgent content for educational use. Visitors who access StageShare links are generally not required to create a StageAgent Account.
While viewing content made available through a StageShare link, we collect the same technical and usage information that we collect from other visitors to the Services, such as IP address, browser information, pages visited, and similar diagnostic information.
To provide a consistent experience, StageShare links may rely on cookies or similar technologies to recognize a visitor's browser while accessing content shared through a StageShare link.
If a visitor leaves the content shared through a StageShare link and navigates to other areas of StageAgent.com, their experience will be treated the same as any other visitor who is not signed in. Certain content may require an Account or Membership to access.

You may choose to provide personal information when you:
create a Basic Account;
upgrade to a PRO or Teacher Membership;
complete your profile;
create or manage a Talent Profile;
create or manage a Theatre Company Profile;
publish an Opportunity Listing;

participate in surveys or promotions; or
otherwise interact with the Services.
Depending on how you use StageAgent, this information may include:
your name;
email address;
username;
password (stored in a secure, encrypted or hashed form);
profile photograph;
biographical information;
theatre experience, education, and performance history;
resumes, media, portfolio materials, and other content you choose to upload;
theatre company information;
Opportunity Listing details;
billing name and billing address;
payment-related information associated with your purchases; and
any other information you voluntarily choose to submit.
Payment Information
Payments for PRO Memberships, Teacher Memberships, and other paid Services are processed by Stripe.
StageAgent does not store complete payment card numbers or payment security codes on its own servers.
Payment information is subject to Stripe's own privacy practices.
Information We Receive from Third Parties
We may receive limited information from third parties when you choose to interact with them through StageAgent.
For example:
If you sign in using Google or Facebook, we may receive basic account information such as your name, email address, and profile image, depending on the permissions you authorize.
Our payment processor, Stripe, provides information necessary to process purchases, manage subscriptions, and confirm payment transactions.
Service providers that help us operate the Services may provide information necessary to support your Account or transactions.
The information we receive depends on the services you choose to use and the permissions you grant.
We do not control the privacy practices of these third parties, and their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Some features of the Services allow you to intentionally make information publicly available.
Depending on how you use StageAgent, publicly visible information may include:
Talent Profiles;
Theatre Company Profiles;
Opportunity Listings;
profile photographs;
biographies;
resumes;
performance history;
media and portfolio materials you choose to publish; and
other information you voluntarily designate as public.
Information you choose to make public may be visible to other users, search engines, and the general public. Please carefully consider what information you choose to publish through the Services.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, improve, and protect the Services.
Depending on how you interact with StageAgent, we may use your information to:
provide and operate the Services;
create and manage your Account;
process Membership purchases and subscription renewals;
authenticate your identity and maintain account security;
provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;
personalize your experience and remember your preferences;
provide access to Membership features and content;
create and display Talent Profiles, Theatre Company Profiles, and Opportunity Listings that you choose to publish;
communicate with you about your Account, Membership, or transactions;
send newsletters, product announcements, and promotional communications (subject to your communication preferences);
analyze how the Services are used so we can improve functionality and user experience;
detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other unauthorized activity;
enforce our Terms of Service and other policies;
comply with legal obligations; and
protect the rights, property, and safety of StageAgent, our users, and others.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, research, product development, and other lawful business purposes. We may use information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be associated with you.

support features that allow teachers to share content with others, such as StageShare™;

We use Customer.io and other service providers to send emails related to your Account and the Services.
These communications may include:
account verification emails;
password reset emails;
purchase confirmations;
subscription and billing notifications;
Membership updates;
product announcements;
newsletters; and
promotional communications.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by updating your communication preferences. Please note that you may continue to receive transactional or account-related emails that are necessary to provide the Services.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.
We may share certain technical and usage information with analytics and advertising partners, as described in this Privacy Policy, to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand how visitors use our Services, and provide more relevant advertising. enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements;

protect the rights, property, or safety of StageAgent, our users, or others.

We may share information in other circumstances when you direct us to do so or otherwise provide your consent.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests.
The length of time we retain information depends on the type of information and how it is used. For example:
Account information is generally retained while your Account remains active.
Billing and transaction records may be retained as required by law or for accounting purposes.
Public content that you publish may remain visible until you remove it or request its removal, subject to applicable law and our operational requirements.
Backup copies may be retained for a reasonable period before being securely deleted.

12. Children's Privacy
StageAgent is intended for theatre enthusiasts, educators, performers, and students who meet the age requirements described in our Terms of Service.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children in violation of applicable law.
Users under the minimum age permitted to independently create an Account may only use the Services through a parent, legal guardian, educator, or another method authorized by StageAgent.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in violation of this Privacy Policy, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
13. International Users
StageAgent is operated from the United States.
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that the privacy and data protection laws of these countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
14. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), including the right to:
