Jesse Pasternack is a filmmaker and playwright based in Los Angeles, California. When he was sixteen, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore invited him to moderate filmmaker panels at his film festival in Traverse City, Michigan, which he did for five years. His short film Picked appeared at the Anthology Film Archives in New York City. He has been a regular guest on Doug Benson’s comedy podcast Doug Loves Movies. At Indiana University, he wrote short plays as well as lyrics for musical theater songs.
