Philip Grecian is a playwright best known for authorized stage adaptation of plays his most well known work being A Christmas Story. Grecian also adapted A Christmas Carol, It's a Wonderful Life, Velveteen Rabbit, Dracula, Frankenstein, In His Steps, and The Hounds of Baskerville, most of which are radio plays. He also has two plays The Dragon of Nitt and Lion and the Lyre that have been translated into Russian. Grecian has been a performer since the age of four starting out with ventriloquism and in the 1960s he started performing in Joe Eastson’s The Drunkard, which since 2022 is performing the lead role of Joe Morgan, and directing the show..
