Yasmina Reza is a French playwright, actress, novelist, and screenwriter. Known for plays Art and God of Carnage. Most of her writing deals with issues of the contemporary middle class. In her early career, she acted in several new plays, as well as works by Moliere and Marivaux.
Yasmina Reza Lives in Paris. She is the recipient of several Moliere awards (the French equivalent of an Olivier or a Tony) and trained at the renowned drama school of Jacques LeCoq. In 1997, she published her first novel, Hammerklavier.
