Born in 1959 in Staffordshire, England, Nick Stafford has written for many venues, including stage, film, television, and radio.
His most popular and well-received play was War Horse, based on the novel by Michael Morpugro--he won the Olivier Award and the Tony Award for Best Play. His other plays include The Snow Queen, Luminosity, and Love Me Tonight. He has worked with the National Theatre, the Birmingham Rep, and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
