James Reach (1910-1970) was an American playwright from Brooklyn, New York. He wrote over 200 plays and had many adaptations for stage and television including David and Lisa, originally written as a novel by Theodore Isaac Rubin. He also adapted writings for radio shows and was a director of the literary department at Samuel French Publishing.
