Eric Bogosian is a playwright, actor, and writer. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from Oberlin College. His writing career began in the early 1980s with off-Broadway solo shows: Men Inside and funHouse. He went on to write four additional solo pieces which have received three Obie Awards and a Drama Desk award. Bogosian has also written plays, including subUrbia and Talk Radio, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and was adapted into a film starring Bogosian and directed by Oliver Stone.
Bogosian is also an actor. He played a lead role in the TV series Law and Order: Criminal Intent and has made guest appearances on several other series. He also starred in the films Uncut Gems, Heights, and Ararat. He was also a dance curator for The Kitchen, an experimental art institute in New York City. Bogosian’s most recent role is in the series Interview with the Vampire as journalist Daniel Molloy.
