Jessie Jones is an American actor and writer. As a member of the playwriting trio known as Jones Hope Wooten, she has written movies, TV episodes, and off-Broadway comedies. Along with actor David Bottrell, she co-wrote the play Dearly Departed, an ensemble comedy about a dysfunctional Southern family gathering for a funeral. Jones has also written short stories and projects for ABC, Lifetime, and TNT.
As an actor, Jones has appeared on stage in New York and regionally and in episodes of TV series like Cold Case, Judging Amy, and Melrose Place. She also co-wrote Kingdom Come, the movie adaptation of Dearly Departed.
