Tom Roe is a British comedian, writer, director and actor, best known for creating the Police Cops universe with his fellow colleagues Zachary Hunt and Nathan Parkinson. A graduate of the East 15 Acting School, Roe has won multiple awards around the world for Police Cops, including the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence 2015, the IYAF Best Theatre Award 2016, the IYAF Best Comedy Award 2016, the Cape Town Fringe Best International Show 2016, the Vault Festival People’s Choice Awards 2016, and the Pulse Festival Suitcase Award. The four shows within the canon include Police Cops, Police Cops in Space, Badass Be Thy Name, and Police Cops The Musical, which have enjoyed total sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. The musical version of the show was recently produced at the Southwark Playhouse in London where it will return yet again in 2024. The show was received incredibly well, with four and five star-ratings all around, and five Offie nominations.
