Chris Bush is a British playwright and lyricist from Sheffield, England. Best known as the book writer for Standing at the Sky’s Edge in 2019, and TONY! The Blair Musical in 2007, Bush uses her experience as a Sheffeild native to often write about her hometown. She has been a resident artist at the Oxford Playhouse and the National Theatre Studio and is currently the Artistic Associate for Sheffield Theatres. Bush has won a Brit Writers’ Award, two Spotlight Emerging Artists’ Awards, and the National Young Playwrights’ Festival.
