Brighton Secondary College offers a comprehensive and dynamic Performing Arts program for students in Years 7 through 12. As a government co-ed school serving over 900 students, it emphasizes drama, dance, and music within both curriculum and co-curricular frameworks. The college operates a dedicated Performing Arts Centre—featuring a 400‑seat theatre, drama studios, and music spaces—where students regularly participate in productions across disciplines.

Drama education at Brighton includes a specialist track called the Company Bright Program, which students audition into. This program functions as a production company model, offering students practical experiences in acting, directing, theatre-making, and even film production. Alumni often go on to pursue further performing arts training at RADA, Mountview, Bristol Old Vic, or other institutions.
