Introduction
In this module we’ll discuss how to choose and cut monologues that will meet your various college audition requirements.
Terminology
- Adjudicator: The person(s) evaluating your audition. In the context of college auditions, these people are typically faculty.
- Audition Cut: A 1-2 minute monologue from a play, or short (16-bar) and long (32-bar) portions of a song.
- Monologue: A speech from a script presented by a single character.
