Preparing for the Interview

Introduction
Colleges will interview you, either during or separate from your audition time, so they have a better sense of who you are. They may ask you questions about yourself, your experience, or why you want to go to their school before or after your audition.
Terminology
- Adjudicator: The person(s) evaluating your audition. In the context of college auditions, these people are typically faculty.
- Interview: A conversation with members of the faculty in order to find out more about the auditioning student.

Preparation
The interview may not be a formal part of the audition process. Any time you are asked questions before, during, or after you audition, you should consider it part of an interview.
There are no right or wrong answers to the kinds of questions adjudicators will ask you at an audition. Just try to relax, listen to the question, look at the person/people
