I’m not gonna lie. This hasn’t been the easiest of week for any of us. I, myself, felt on edge, tense, desperate to check my email or send out a tweet. But then yesterday I felt like something miraculous happened. I saw more displays of decency and open communication than I’ve seen in the last ten years. I saw couples talking to each other, not just glued to their phones. I saw people running and playing games. I saw several people meditating in the park. Really striving to live in the moment! So I hope we all remember this as we move forward. As the internet comes back into our lives, we remember that there’s more to life than just... tweeting and messaging and posting pictures. That there’s a whole world we ignore on a daily basis that maybe...we should pay a little more attention to. Now, are there any questions?!

Okay okay! Settle! Settle you animals! Settle. I know! I get it. You all miss the internet. And I have some good news for you. In exactly one minute, the internet will be back online!
(Cheers! EVERYONE celebrates.)
Yes, yes, you’re welcome. BUT…come on! Didn’t you listen to what I said? What about all the things we discovered about ourselves this week? Making eye contact and going outside! Not being a slave to ‘likes’ and pings! Surely some of you feel the way I do?
