See ma’am, my old man left me these boots when he died. He said “Son, the man of the house needs a pair of boots ‘cause he’s gotta do a lot of kickin’.
[...]
That’s a little poem he made up. He says “Son, there’ll be times when the only things you got to be proud of is the fact that you’re a man. So wear your boots so people can hear you comin’, and keep your fists doubled up so they’ll know you mean business when you get there.” My old man, he was a corker!
