BETTY: Hi! Boozhoo! My name is Betty Moses and I’m an alcoholic. I am from the Windigo Bay First Nation. I been an alcoholic for twenty years. I have a teenage son named Michael. He lives with me on the reserve. I decided a couple years ago that I needed to quit drinking.

I have to stay strong. I want my boy to be proud of me too. That is why I come here today. Just to remind myself that I don’t need the booze to keep me happy.
