Text

Lilah, do you remember that time we were in New York and I asked that waiter for a slice of supreme pizza and he said, (with an exaggerated southern accent) “A sliiice of supreme? What exactly is thayut?” You said, and I quote “We use the word supreme as a substitute for having to go into an entire soliloquy for attempting to order a pizza with every damn thing on it including pineapple if you want to toss some on. OR you could just say a slice of supreme please, which seems like the obvious choice in South Carolina, but apparently not here PIZZA MAN!”
