I was in law school, and my boyfriend took me on a road trip for our six-month anniversary. We were going to Vegas. I thought we were going to get married in one of those ridiculous chapels. It wasn't until we had left the state and I couldn't find my purse that I realized something was wrong. I kept asking him if he knew where it was, and he kept getting more and more agitated...started yelling and cursing at me. He had never talked to me like that before. When we arrived at the escort service, that's when he dropped the bomb. He said that he had paid a lot to get me to Vegas and that he had put the first and last month's rent on the apartment I would be staying at. I was so confused. He said that if I really loved him, I would do what he asked. He took me inside where there were two guys waiting for me. They handed him a wad of cash, and he left. They said I needed to make them $1500 dollars that night or they were going to beat me up. I was crying and asked them how in the world I was going to make $1500, and they started laughing. I serviced 20 men that night and was beaten to an inch of my life.
