Janice,
Thank you for your last letter. I’m so glad I have a pen pal I can write to. To answer your question, I’m doing better. The move was difficult but I’m making new friends and I’m thinking about going to college. I’m not sure yet, I might work for a while first but we’ll see. I also wanted to thank you for being so understanding and open-minded. You are the only person that I told I was gay. I haven’t told my mother or anyone for that matter. I appreciate you telling me that no one cares about that stuff anymore, but my dad said it’s an abomination. I never believed that, but it messes with my head! I know I have to tell them so I can be myself but I’m scared. I don’t want people to reject me because of my sexual orientation. Well I hear my mom moving around and it smells like she made breakfast. I’ll write again soon.
Love
Eileen
