Text

The last time you were here you betrayed my mother. All she wants from you is to be left alone. There is so much you don't understand. Her marriage here ended. I had a younger brother who died of a botched tonsillectomy when he was 8. She was in a psychiatric hospital for four years. You being here is all part of a time she tries to forget. She built a career as an English teacher, raised me, and is now peacefully retired. Why don't you get your things and I'll drive you to the airport? They have direct flights to London, very cheap, although they charge extra for everything, even water. I can put it on my credit card. You can connect to Detroit and be home with your loving family tomorrow.
