Not everybody was as interested as you in that side of the club. We really just wanted to have fun, not learn who’s buried in King Tut’s tomb. We would have been perfectly happy to keep it the way it was. Ducking in and out of empty classrooms. Hiding from teachers staying late grading papers. It was . . . electric. We were doing something we weren’t supposed to, but we weren’t hurting anybody. And if anybody caught us—they were shocked!
