Text

Thank heavens I got rid of her before she found out about the bikers. The bikers! (Cedric presses pretend button on desk as lights go up in reception area.) EDNA... WILL YOU PLEASE PAGE... oh... to heck with it. (Edna shrugs, then frowns and gets a glass to listen at Cedric’s door. Cedric goes to door UL and opens it.) SHERIFF MULRONEY! MAY I SEE YOU IN MY OFFICE? (He paces until Shirley enters then he grabs her by the shoulders.) I think we managed to keep the biker issue from the reporter. We can’t have this all over the media just because something big is happening! People will think our town isn’t safe! We must get rid of her.
