About the Play:

It's My Party (and I'll Die If I want to) is a dark Australian comedy by Elizabeth Coleman.

Ron Patterson believes he has 111 minutes to live, so he decides to invite the kids around for party pies, pavlova and a strict schedule of events. As he attempts to tie up the loose ends of his life, all the juicy neuroses of this very dysfunctional family come out of the closet, and his well-planned final party completely unravels.

The Cast: 3 women; 3 men:

MICHAEL PATTERSON, thirties, tense, image-conscious, driven

DEBBIE PATTERSON, thirties, creative, fun, vulnerable

KAREN PATTERSON, twenties, spoilt, self-absorbed, petulant

TED WILKINS, twenties, polite, personable, eager-to-please

Rehearsals: Will be scheduled in consultation with the cast and are expected to commence mid-August.
