OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION

Audition Details: In order to audition for this production, all students must register and pay a deposit prior to auditions. Tuition for this opportunity is $750. Financial aid and payment plans are available. All registered students will be cast in the show. Registrations are open to all students ages 13-18; students should have a basic understanding of theatre before registering to participate: https://redmountaintheatre.org/class/six-teen-edition/.

The audition is Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 6:00-10:00pm. The audition starts with a 30 minute mandatory parent/guardian meeting. If no one is able to attend the mandatory meeting, please reach out to education@redmountaintheatre.org .

For the audition, prepare 16 bars of an audition song to sing from memory; please bring your sheet music with you to the audition. RMT will provide an accompanist. You will also do a dance call and cold reads from the script. If you have questions or concerns about auditioning, reach out to education@redmountaintheatre.org. Please bring your headshot and resume to the audition or email it to education@redmoutaintheatre.org prior to auditioning.

Callbacks: Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6:00-10:00pm.

Callback Details: Students will be notified if they are needed for callbacks. Within that notification will be what students need to prepare.

NOTE: All rehearsals for a Young Artist Productions are mandatory. Students will be approved for no more than ONE non-emergency absence during this production. All absences must be submitted to the stage manager PRIOR TO the audition for approval. No absences are allowed during technical rehearsals or performances.
