Frozen

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is holding auditions for the Season 99 Holiday Show, Disney’s Frozen, on Friday, July 25th at 4pm, and Saturday, July 26th at 10 am. We are seeking 20-25 actors, ages 16+ and 4 young actresses ages 8-12 of all ethnicities, body types and sizes, and gender identities. We are looking for a company of performers who are strong storytellers, thoughtful collaborators, joyful artists, and dependable community builders.

WHAT TO PREPARE: ALL Auditions will consist of a singing element and dance element. NO reading from the script will happen at the initial audition.

VOCAL AUDITION: ALL Auditionees should prepare 16-32 bars; additional details can be found in the audition guide at grct.org/audition.

DANCE AUDITION: The dance combination will be available via video approximately two weeks prior to the audition. Look for more information in the audition guide as well as the video itself at grct.org/audition.

Perusal scripts can be checked out with a $10 deposit at the Civic Theatre Box office M-F 10am-5pm. After that, you may read the perusal script AT the theatre but the scripts may not leave the building.

PLEASE FILL OUT THE ONLINE AUDITION FORM AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR AUDITION which can be found at grct.org/audition.

CALLBACKS: Monday, July 28th and Tuesday, July 29th, from 6pm-10pm. Callbacks are by invitation only based on the needs of the individual production. Those invited to callbacks will likely read scenes and sing songs from the show, and may learn additional choreography, as well as participate in improvisation and movement exercises.
