Executive Director

We are looking for someone keen to help drive artistic excellence with passion and who is confident and collaborative with a sense ofadventure. You will be financially prudent, adaptable and tenacious to take on this broad brief with the ability to focus on the strategic objectives of the company.

Brief:

• To partner with the Artistic Director to form keystrategic policy and to take responsibility for the efficient running and financial management of the company.
• To marry the artistic ambition with the logistical, financial and practical resources of the company and to create and sustain a business model to do so.
• To oversee the practical delivery of the artistic programme.
• To drive imaginative strategic thinking, analysis, financial management and rigour throughout the senior management team in response to the artistic ambition, and to create initiatives and operational strategy to do so.
• To secure the day to day operation of the company, creating an environment in which everyone working at the Almeida can flourish.
• To report to the Board of Trustees on a regular basis to ensure that the Board is aware of key strategic, operational and financial matters.
