Disney on Broadway: The Lion King

Disney Theatrical is seeking future replacements for Young Simba and Young Nala for Broadway and the North American Tour. Seeking children ages 9-12, between 51″ – 57″ in height, who can sing, dance and act to play the African lion cubs Simba and Nala. We encourage children of all backgrounds to attend. No performance experience necessary. Be prepared to be taught the last verse of “Just Can’t Wait to be King.”

YOUNG SIMBA: He/Him. 9 – 12 years old. An African lion cub. Mufasa’s son. A lion cub that eventually becomes the King of the Pridelands. Looking for a young actor/singer with natural talent, charm, and charisma. Actor must move well and hold the stage on his own with confidence and truth. ACTOR MUST BE UNDER 58 INCHES.

YOUNG NALA: She/Her. 9 – 12 years old. An African lion cub. She eventually becomes the Queen of the Pridelands. She keeps Simba in his place. Looking for a young actor/singer with natural talent, charm, and charisma. Actor must move well and hold the stage on her own with confidence and truth. ACTOR MUST BE UNDER 58 INCHES.

Minimum weekly Broadway salary is $2,771.98. Minimum weekly Tour salary is $2,499.00.
