Our 2025 EPAs (Equity Principal Auditions) will be held
June 18, 2025 – 10am-6pm – PLAYS.
June 19, 2025 – 10am-3pm – MUSICALS.
June 20, 2025 – 10am-6pm – MUSICALS.
Show-specific callbacks will follow: https://speakeasystage.com/auditions/.
Auditions will take place in person. Auditions should be no longer than 5 minutes. Actors may perform one or two monologues, 1-2 short cuts of contrasting contemporary songs, a piece from the season’s plays, or any combination of the performer’s choice (that fits within the designated time). A reader will not be provided at the EPA.
While Artistic Director Dawn M. Simmons and Director of Artistic Programs Alex Lonati will be present at all dates, there will be a focus on the season plays on June 18th and a focus on the season musicals June 19-20th. An accompanist will be available for the latter two dates.

Please note – only members of AEA will be guaranteed a slot. Non-union actors will be placed on a waitlist.
