Two one-act plays in one night! NORTHWEST PASSAGES Witness the dynamically changing Northwest at the turn of the century. The expansion of the railroad, labor struggles, World War and a Pandemic – these are the challenges experienced by a young Swedish immigrant and her community. Combining captivating historic film with solo performance, Northwest Passages brings to life the diversity of Washington State over 100 hundred years ago. THE RIGHT TO DREAM This performance is not recommended for children under 12. The Civil Rights Movement is witnessed through the eyes of a student coming of age in Mississippi during the 1960’s. Through live theater and archival footage, this powerful multimedia performance illuminates the issues of civil rights, leading audiences to understand how the fight against prejudice has shaped our history.
