Uma is waiting to be picked up by a minibus of supporters for the activist, Anna Hazare. She is determined to play her part in the efforts to end corruption in India. However, Navin, a local taxi driver, has a much more cynical point of view. He knows the protests are dangerous and Uma's husband does not know of her plans. He believes that corruption in India is inevitable and the efforts to break it down will be fruitless.
