Oceanus, one of the Titans and friend to Prometheus, has heard of his punishment and has come to offer him some advice: be too boastful about his gifts to humankind, since Zeus is always listening, and is likely to punish him further. But Prometheus is skeptical: he accuses Oceanus of being one of Zeus’ confidants, and therefore his enemy.
