Context
Throughout the play, Fefu and Julia have demonstrated that they seem to spiritually know and feel more than the others. Now, the two of them are alone, and while they begin causally, Fefu is desperate to understand Julia--her injury, her exhaustion, and her emotions. Fefu admits that she feels as though she is losing her grip on reality, and begs Julia to help her mind and soul rest.
