Context
Nora has returned home after 15 years to ask her estranged husband, Torvald, to finally grant her a divorce. She was unaware that the two were still legally married. Should her marital status be made public, it would cost Nora her career and reputation, and possibly send her to prison. At her first request, Torvald refused to divorce her and furiously stormed out of the house. Now, he’s returned, and Nora must make one last attempt to get through to her former spouse.
