Context
Sandra has come back on stage after being knocked out by a door. However, Annie is wearing Sandra’s costume so she is in her underwear, determined to get her part back. She continues with the scene with Max, but he is very uncomfortable that she is half-dressed. When she is knocked out again, Trevor (the lighting technician) is forced to take over the script and awkwardly read in Sandra’s role.

Start: Sandra: Arthur, you have known me years, surely you believe I would never do something like this!
Max: On the contrary Miss Colleymoore, it was I who discovered you to be the guilty part.

End: Trevor: (reads) Then kiss me, Arthur! You know you want to!
Beat. Trevor then approaches Max. Max looks away.
Trevor: Kiss me, Arthur. You know you want to.
Max looks scared. Vamp. He suddenly kisses Trevor.
