Context
Major Rugemer is a German officer who runs a large factory. Although he is strict and stern, he does not conform to the stereotypical Nazi image. However, his friend Rokita is a Nazi through and through--a “devastatingly handsome” officer in the S.S. He is in awe of Hitler and his plan to exterminate all Jews, becoming giddy with the thought of it. He has come to the home of his good friend Major Rugemer to warn him to recruit new factory workers as soon there won’t be any Jews left to work for

START: RUGEMER: But what am I supposed to do for workers? What do you think, that I can get a whole new factory full of inexperienced people and meet my quotas? You people in the gestapo never understand. I don’t mean you specifically, Sturmbannfuhrer Rokita. You and I are friends of course.

END: ROKITA: Now, I have until July twenty-second to make sure this entire sector is Jew free. After that, if there is a single living Jew left in Tarnopol, I can kiss promotion goodbye. So, take my advice, Major, get new workers.
