Context
Ben, a married man with children, has been having an affair with his driven and imposing boss, Abby, for the past 3 years. Both shoulder a sense of shame and guilt, albeit for different reasons, but when 9/11 happens, the couple suddenly find themselves faced with a moral dilemma. With their office located in the World Trade Center, Ben is intent on disappearing and running away with Abby, leaving everyone to assume that he died in the attack and freeing him from having to confess to his wife
