Context
David is trying to get a handle on his new surroundings at the Berkley School, which is a learning institution for mentally scarred or ill children. He is fascinated by Lisa and this is the first time that they talk one on one and explore the issues that they both have on an individual level. David attempts to communicate with her through rhyme, and Lisa understands that touching David is a no-go. And while it may seem a difficult task, they manage to make it work.

START: LISA: Dockety dock, clock, clock! Dockety dockety, clock, clock clock! (DAVID watches her with interest. When she has circled the room, she plants herself in front of him.) Hello, hello, kiddo, kiddo!
DAVID: (In a perfectly serious voice) Kiddo, hello. Hello, kiddo.
[... … …]
END: LISA: (Advances on him, as he takes a step backward.) Foolish talking! Foolish squawking!
DAVID: (A warning.) No such --no touch!
LISA: (Hesitates, looks him over as if trying to figure it out; then agreeably.) No such, no touch.
