Text

EUGENE: There’s too much material in this house. Maybe I don’t have to become a writer. If only I could get enough people to pay for seats in the living room.

STAN: (bursting into EUGENE’S room, holding a sheet of paper) I can’t believe it. I cannot believe it!

EUGENE: What?

STAN: I just came up with an idea. One of the funniest ideas I ever heard of in my life. I was hysterical just picturing it.

[... … …]

STAN: I can’t keep my eyes open. You want to take a half-hour break?

EUGENE: How about an hour?

STAN: Thirty minutes. That’s all. You have no discipline. Don’t let me fall asleep.
