START: PETER. He’s nice, but what a baby!
PATRICIA looks angrily at him.
Darling, don’t be angry, please.
PATRICIA. Angry? (Wearily). Oh, Lord, what an idiot you are!
PETER. I don’t see that I’ve done anything so wrong in coming down to face the music.

END: PATRICIA. Yes. I had to put him to bed, poor lamb.
PETER. Charming for you.
PATRICIA. No, it wasn’t – I mean, it was, rather.
PETER. It couldn’t have been.
