Context
Rose has come to visit her former colleagues and friends Hazel and her husband, Robin. They have not seen each other for over thirty years. Hazel believed Rose to be an intruder and, as the play opens, she has just hit Rose in the face. The action takes place within Hazel and Robin’s small cottage.
