Context
Hazel and Robin’s day has been unexpectedly interrupted by the arrival of their former colleague and old friend, Rose. While Rose is in the bathroom, Robin and Hazel chat privately. There is clear tension between the couple as they discuss their eldest daughter, Lauren, who is emotionally troubled.
