BILL: Evening, Dennis.
DENNIS jumps out of his skin. Coughs and splutters.Choking…
DENNIS: Jesus!
BILL: Dennis…

END: DENNIS: There was this woman. Stood at the end of the pier, gazing over the rail. I toddle over, I’m stood as far from her as I am from you. I say ‘Lovely morning,’ whatnot. Slowly, she turned, and she looked at me.
Pause.
I nearly dropped down dead.
Pause.
BILL: Who was it?
Pause.
Dennis? Who was it?
