Start: Tommy: Well Syd, when’s it going to be?
Syd: (wearily) What, Tommy?
Tommy: The weddin’ – the weddin’.
Syd: Ah – Jesus! Don’t talk to me about it. There’s not goin’ to be a weddin’, is there?
Tommy: (sitting up) Y’what?

END: Ted (shouting) Stop bein’ so bloody stupid! You didn’t do it. How could you do it? It was the seams, the seams that came apart. You didn’t do it! (He goes to the door shouting.) Reeny – Reeny, where’s his tablets? Reeny! (He turns back to John. Pointing.) It’s all the excitement that’s brought this on. I thought Christmas might be too much for him.
