(BRENDA's kitchen. Night. ALEX, DANIEL, and Alex's friend PRINCESS (all in their mid-teens) mill around, looking in the fridge, etc. PRINCESS roots around the kitchen, searching. They wear pajamas. From the other room, HGTV can be heard--perhaps the flickering glow of a television from the other room creeps into the kitchen.)
ALEX (To PRINCESS:) Are you kidding me?
DANIEL Shhhhhh-- Alex where's the milk?
PRINCESS I used the hearts-for-eyes, and then he--
DANIEL Alexandria.
ALEX Daniel.
DANIEL There's no milk.
ALEX So tell mom.
PRINCESS Daniel, honey--
DANIEL There's only V8.
PRINCESS Can I use your charger?
ALEX Princess do not speak to my brother. He's rude and smelly.
PRINCESS My phone's / almost dead.
ALEX There's one in that drawer probably.
PRINCESS I just feel like you're missing
